    继2006年后，杰西·诺曼女士再次来到上海并首次亮相MISA！

     杰西·诺曼美国当代著名的歌剧演员和独唱家，曾赢得格莱美奖。她是一位戏剧女高音，尤其以演唱瓦格纳的角色闻名。诺曼曾获得诸多荣誉，包括入选佐治亚音乐名人堂和获颁史宾岗奖。

     本次音乐会的曲目包含了在美国最受欢迎的福音歌曲，其中有艾灵顿公爵在上世纪60年代末期为他的三场宗教作品音乐会谱写的部分歌曲以及1620-1865年间黑人灵歌音乐的精华。

     Ms. Jessye Norman will come to Shanghai again after 2006 and have her debut in MISA!

     Jessye Norman is an American Grammy award-winning contemporary opera singer and recitalist. A dramatic soprano, Norman is associated in particular with the Wagnerian repertoire. Norman has been inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and is a Spingarn Medalist.

     This program will consist of some of the most beloved of sacred music from America; the wonderful songs of Duke Ellington with selections taken from the three sacred music concerts for which he composed the words and the music in the late 1960’s, along with Spirituals dating from as early as 1620 and as late as 1865.

    If you are familiar with her classical pieces, come and refresh your knowledge of her because she has struck up a new image.
